Lala refuses to eat because she is worried about Bibi being sick!

The morning sunlight poured gently into the room, but little Lala sat silently in the corner, her eyes filled with concern. Her favorite breakfast — warm porridge and fresh banana slices — sat untouched on the table. Normally, Lala would be excited, clapping her hands and chatting with Thuy during meals. But today, she couldn’t stop thinking about one thing: Bibi was sick.

Ever since Thuy told her that Bibi had a fever and was resting, Lala had lost her usual cheerful spirit. She kept glancing at the door, hoping to see her friend come running in with his usual bright smile. But the room remained quiet.

“Lala, sweetie, you need to eat,” Thuy said gently, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Bibi will feel better soon, but you need energy to take care of him too.”

Lala shook her head, her lower lip trembling. “I don’t want to eat… not until Bibi is okay,” she whispered.

Thuy understood her worry and gave her a warm hug. “How about this?” she suggested. “Let’s draw a picture for Bibi and write him a note. When he wakes up, he’ll be so happy to see it. And after that, we’ll eat together — for him.”

Lala nodded slowly, wiping her eyes. With crayons in hand, she carefully drew a heart, two monkeys holding hands, and a bright sun. On the bottom, she wrote with Thuy’s help: “Get well soon, Bibi. I love you.”

Later, after placing the drawing near Bibi’s bed, Lala finally smiled a little — and took her first bite of breakfast.

Even in her small heart, Lala showed a big love: the kind of care and friendship that could heal even the toughest days.
