Lala is angry because Thuy eats fruit without calling her!

It was a sunny afternoon, and Lala was playing with her toys in the corner of the room, humming softly to herself. She was in a great mood, waiting for snack time. Suddenly, the sweet scent of ripe mango and juicy watermelon drifted through the air. Lala’s nose twitched. She turned around, ears perking up, and followed the scent quietly.

To her surprise, she saw Thuy sitting at the table with a colorful fruit platter — thick slices of watermelon, banana, mango, and even dragon fruit — happily munching away, completely unaware of Lala watching from behind the door. Lala’s eyes widened, and her little face turned from curious to shocked… then to angry.

“Eek eek!” she squeaked in protest, stomping her tiny feet and crossing her arms. She marched over to Thuy with a dramatic pout on her face. How could Thuy start eating without calling her? That wasn’t fair!

Thuy was startled by the sudden burst of monkey frustration. She looked down and saw Lala’s puffed-up cheeks and angry glare. “Oh no, Lala! I didn’t mean to eat without you!” she laughed gently, realizing the mistake. She picked Lala up and sat her on her lap. “I was just slicing the fruit to share, silly girl.”

But Lala wasn’t convinced that easily. She turned her face away with a little “hmph!” It took a few sweet pieces of mango and some tickles before Lala finally cracked a smile and forgave her friend.

They ended up sharing the fruit platter happily, Lala giggling again with every bite. But one thing was clear — next time, Thuy had better call her first!
