It was a quiet afternoon when little Lala, the ever-curious baby monkey, wandered around the kitchen while Thuy was tidying up the garden. The sunlight streamed in, casting sparkles on a glass wine bottle placed carefully on the counter. Its deep red color and shiny surface caught Lala’s eye instantly.
With a quick leap, Lala climbed onto the counter, drawn to the mysterious bottle. She sniffed around it, tapped it gently, then decided to give it a curious little shake. The bottle wobbled dangerously—then crash! It slipped from her tiny hands and shattered on the floor, spilling red wine everywhere.
Startled by the sound, Thuy rushed inside to find a shocked and slightly stained Lala standing in a puddle of wine and broken glass. Lala looked up with wide, guilty eyes, unsure if she should run or stay.
Instead of scolding her, Thuy sighed and carefully lifted Lala away from the mess, checking to make sure she wasn’t hurt. Lala clung tightly to Thuy, clearly frightened by the loud crash and her own mistake.
After cleaning the floor and wiping Lala’s sticky fur, Thuy explained in a soft voice that some things were not for playing—especially bottles that could break and cause harm. Lala nodded, eyes still teary, clearly learning a lesson.
That evening, Lala stayed especially close to Thuy, perhaps realizing that curiosity could sometimes lead to trouble. But she also understood that even when she made mistakes, she was still loved and protected.
The day ended with cuddles and Lala gently holding Thuy’s hand, silently promising herself to be more careful next time.
