The mischievous monkey Tung Tung broke all of his mother’s eggs, the baby monkey was very sad.

In the peaceful corner of the forest, Mama Monkey had spent days carefully gathering eggs from her little nest. These weren’t just any eggs — they were special jungle quail eggs she had been saving to cook for her baby monkey, Titi. Each one was a treasure, carefully placed in a woven leaf basket near their cozy tree hut.

That morning, mischievous little Tung Tung came bouncing in with energy like a whirlwind. Known for his playful nature and boundless curiosity, he didn’t notice the delicate basket on the wooden bench. With one big jump and a loud giggle, he crashed into the bench, sending the basket flying.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
The sound of the eggs breaking echoed like thunder to little Titi’s ears. He rushed out just in time to see the yolk oozing onto the leaves and Tung Tung standing in shock.

Mama Monkey gasped, holding her hands to her face. The carefully saved eggs were ruined. Titi’s eyes welled up with tears. “That was our breakfast… and Mama worked so hard for them,” he whimpered.

Tung Tung looked down, ashamed. He hadn’t meant to cause harm — he only wanted to play. Seeing Titi so sad made his heart ache. Quietly, he picked up the broken basket and began gathering wild berries and sweet fruits from nearby bushes.

Later, he came back with a small offering, placing it before Titi and Mama with an apologetic expression. “I’m sorry,” he said softly.

Mama forgave him with a sigh and a hug. Titi, though still sad, accepted the fruits. That day, they all learned that even a mischievous act could turn into a lesson of care, responsibility, and forgiveness in their little forest family.
